Key Responsibilities:
  • Material Receipt and Storage: Maintain accurate records of incoming materials, including tracking and documenting receipt, storage, and retrieval of inventory.
  • Inventory Management: Conduct regular inventory audits to ensure accuracy and identify areas for improvement.
  • Material Handling and Distribution: Safely and efficiently move materials throughout the facility, utilizing forklifts and other equipment as needed.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Effectively communicate with procurement staff, supervisors, and production staff regarding material deliveries, inventory levels, and any issues that may arise.
  • Quality Control: Conduct regular inspections of materials to ensure they meet quality standards.
Requirements:
  • Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent required; 2+ years of experience in a warehouse or material handling environment preferred.
  • Skills and Abilities: Strong organizational and communication skills; ability to work in a fast-paced environment; proficiency in Microsoft Office and other software applications.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift, push, and pull materials and equipment up to 70 pounds; regular exposure to noise, dust, fumes, and odors.
