Job Title: EHS Coordinator

West Fraser, Inc is seeking a highly motivated and experienced EHS Coordinator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive safety program to ensure a safe work environment for our employees and contractors.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with project leadership to identify and mitigate workplace hazards
  • Develop and implement a contractor safety program
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA and West Fraser standards
  • Measure progress toward meeting safety targets and objectives
  • Provide training and education to employees and contractors on safety procedures and protocols
  • Host regular safety meetings and inspections
  • Other duties as assigned by the EHS Supervisor
Requirements:
  • Minimum 2-3 years of safety experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Solid understanding of safety program development and implementation
  • Ability to educate and train employees and contractors
  • Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with employees and contractors
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
