Infection Prevention Specialist

Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $150,000 per year (based on location and experience)

We are seeking an experienced Infection Preventionist to join our team at NavitsPartners in New York. The successful candidate will be responsible for preventing the spread of infections in a hospital setting.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree, Certification of Infection Control Required (CIC), and at least 4 years of experience in infection prevention. Strong knowledge of public health practices, hospital guidelines, and OSHA policies is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Demonstrate competency in current public health practices to prevent the spread of infections.
• Report infections to the infection control department and follow up according to hospital guidelines.
• Compile and classify infections at various body sites and sources.
• Mitigate infection risk by rounding in patient care areas and ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines.
• Interpret abnormal labs and recognize signs and symptoms of communicable diseases.
