About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Speech and Language Pathologist to join our team at the Health Plan of San Mateo. As a Clinical SLP Specialist, you will conduct assessments and provide recommendations for youth with communicative disorders, working closely with school staff, families, and outside agencies.

Responsibilities:
  1. Conduct thorough assessments, including screening and testing, to identify communicative and speech disorders.
  2. Develop and implement individualized speech and language plans, ensuring alignment with IEP goals and objectives.
  3. Provide services to HPSM members in individualized and/or group settings, prioritizing effective communication systems.

You will also be responsible for maintaining accurate records, preparing comprehensive reports, and facilitating case conferences or MDT/IDT meetings as needed.

Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in speech and language pathology, current, unrestricted SLP licensure in California.
  • At least 1 year of experience working with youth and families, preferably in a multidisciplinary setting.
  • Medi-Cal Credentialed or eligible for enrollment, bilingual skills a plus.

The estimated annual salary for this position is between $100,000-$130,000, based on experience.
