Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team. The ideal candidate will be committed to enhancing students' communication skills and will work collaboratively with educators, families, and other professionals to foster student development and academic achievement.

Key Duties:

  • Evaluation: Perform comprehensive assessments of students' speech and language capabilities, focusing on articulation, language understanding, and social communication.
  • Therapeutic Intervention: Create and execute tailored therapy plans to meet individual speech and language requirements.
  • Collaboration: Work alongside teachers, parents, and school personnel to incorporate therapy objectives into the classroom setting and facilitate student advancement.
  • Record Keeping: Keep precise documentation of evaluations, therapy strategies, and student progress, providing regular updates to families and school administration.
  • Professional Development: Provide expert advice and training to school staff on effective methods for assisting students with communication difficulties.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders from an accredited institution.
  • Licensure: Current Ohio Speech-Language Pathologist license (CCC-SLP or Clinical Rehabilitative Services Credential).
  • Experience: Previous experience in an educational environment is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Skills: Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal abilities, with a proven capacity to engage effectively with a diverse student body.
