Job Summary

The CT Imaging Specialist is responsible for producing high-quality computed tomography (CT) scans of patients in accordance with established medical imaging protocols. This role requires a strong understanding of CT scanning principles and techniques, as well as excellent communication and patient care skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate CT scanners to produce diagnostic-quality images of patients
  • Position patients correctly and safely for scanning
  • Adjust scanner settings to optimize image quality
  • Communicate effectively with patients and medical staff to ensure accurate and efficient scanning
  • Monitor and maintain scanner equipment to ensure optimal performance
Requirements
  • Registered Radiographer (ARRT) certification
  • State Registered Radiologic Technician certification
  • Registered Computerized Tomography Technician certification
  • High School Graduate / GED
