Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Advanced Practice Provider to join our team at Tennessee Cancer Specialists. As an APP, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care, working closely with our physicians and other healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and treat acute, episodic, or chronic illness related to oncology/hematology, independently or as part of a healthcare team.
  • Support and adhere to Tennessee Cancer Specialists Code of Ethical Conduct and Compliance policies.
  • Travel between multiple locations, including our Dowell Springs office in Knoxville and our office in Harrogate.
  • Occasional weekend hospital rounding is required.
Requirements
  • Graduate degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner OR Physician Assistant program required.
  • Active TN state license required.
  • Minimum 0-3 years of prior experience in oncology and at least one (1) year of APP experience highly preferred.
  • Current BLS certification required.
  • Required to maintain current education requirements.

Requires full range of body motion including handling and lifting patients, manual and finger dexterity, and eye-hand coordination. Requires standing and walking for extensive periods of time.
