Nurse Supervisor

Briar Place Nursing and Rehabilitation is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team as a Nurse Supervisor. As a key member of our nursing department, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our nursing unit, ensuring the highest level of care for our residents, and leading a team of dedicated nurses and caregivers.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise and coordinate the activities of nursing staff, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Develop and implement care plans that meet the unique needs of each resident, in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
- Conduct regular rounds to assess the quality of care and identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with the Director of Nursing to develop and implement policies and procedures that promote a culture of excellence and quality care.
- Provide guidance and support to nursing staff, addressing any concerns or issues that may arise.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of new programs and services.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and accreditation standards.
- Current Registered Professional Nurse's license in the State of Illinois or a Licensed Practical Nurse license.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a supervisory or leadership role in a healthcare setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with residents, families, and staff.
- Strong leadership and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a focus on providing exceptional care and service.
