About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Cashier Part Time to join our team at BJ's Wholesale Club. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, processing member purchases, and maintaining a clean and organized sales floor.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process member purchases in a timely and efficient manner, including verifying, renewing, and upgrading membership products.
  • Provide excellent customer service, answering questions and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Scan merchandise through a point-of-sale system to ensure accurate inventory counts and purchase totals.
  • Collect payments via cash, check, or other charge payments from members.
  • Maintain the cleanliness of the sales floor, including restocking shelves and disposing of trash.
  • Assist with general club housekeeping and perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • Basic math skills and prior cashier or sales experience preferred.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a positive attitude.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
