Electrical Lineman

CORE Electric Cooperative is seeking experienced Journeyman Linemen to join our District Operations team. This role is responsible for the performance of labor necessary for the construction and maintenance of electrical distribution and transmission lines.

• Perform duties that require an intensive practical knowledge of electric power lines, including construction and maintenance tasks.
• Work independently and as part of a crew, receiving guidance and direction from supervisors and working foremen.
• Interact with consumers and members, influencing their opinion of the Cooperative.

• A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
• At least four years of apprenticeship training as a Lineman II or apprentice in the construction and maintenance of electric transmission and distribution lines.
• A valid unrestricted class A Colorado Commercial Driver's License and a DOT medical certificate are required and must be maintained.

• 9/80 work schedule (3-day weekend every other week)
