Respiratory Care Specialist

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Respiratory Care Practitioner to join our team at Covenant Hobbs Hospital. As a Respiratory Care Practitioner, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality respiratory care to our patients, including planning, preparing, and delivering a broad range of respiratory care procedures and diagnostic studies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver respiratory care procedures and diagnostic studies
- Document all respiratory care on appropriate records
- Inspect, test, maintain, and operate respiratory care equipment
- Complete patient billing
Requirements:
- Associate's Degree from a Respiratory Care Program from an AMA-approved school or equivalent education/experience
- Bachelor's Degree from a Respiratory Care Program from an AMA-approved school in lieu of an associate degree and 1 year of experience
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire
- National Provider ACLS - American Heart Association within 90 days of hire
- National Provider PALS - American Heart Association within 90 days of hire
- Texas Respiratory Care Practitioner License upon hire - if practicing within this state or New Mexico Respiratory Care Practitioner License upon hire - if practicing within this state
- 1 year of experience (may include clinical portion of training program)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Coursework/Training: Flight Training
