About the Job

This Emergency Room Registered Nurse position is a 13-week contract with a top healthcare facility in North Bergen, New Jersey. You will be working 36 hours per week, with 12-hour shifts, and will have the opportunity to work with a talented team of healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities
  • Assess, intervene, and stabilize patients with various trauma and illnesses, using decisive action and knowledge of general and specific health issues.
  • Properly understand triage to prioritize injuries based on medical need, making quick and accurate assessments about incoming patients.
  • Work effectively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple patients and prioritizing tasks to ensure efficient and effective care.
Requirements
  • Active RN License
  • Degree from accredited nursing program
  • BLS, ACLS, PALS & TNCC may be required in some positions
  • Eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care Emergency Room setting
