Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with company guidelines and curriculum standards.
- Manage the classroom environment, ensuring a clean, safe, and organized space for children to learn and grow.
- Collaborate with the assistant teacher to provide a cohesive and effective educational experience.
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians to keep them informed of their child's progress and address any concerns they may have.
- Attend monthly trainings and staff meetings to stay up-to-date on company policies and procedures.
- Comply with all licensing rules and regulations, seeking guidance from the Center Director or Assistant Director as needed.
- At least 12 Early Childhood Education units, including Early Child Development, Child, Family & Community, Infant & Toddler, and other relevant courses.
- At least 2 years of experience as a teacher in a preschool or school age setting.
- Passionate about working with children and families, with a positive and patient demeanor.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and build strong relationships with colleagues and parents.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new software applications and company policies.
- Able to work occasional overtime and attend scheduled staff meetings after hours.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods of time.
