About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Dialysis Technician to join our team at Dialysis Clinic, Inc. As a Dialysis Technician, you will play a vital role in providing top-notch patient care and supporting our mission to prioritize individualized care for patients facing chronic kidney disease.

Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in infection control and risk management activities to ensure a safe and healthy environment for patients.
  • Guide new patients through a comprehensive 120-day education plan to ensure they understand their treatment options and can manage their care effectively.
  • Obtain and record patient vital signs and machine readings during treatment, and report any changes or concerns to the charge nurse.
  • Set up and break down dialysis blood systems for treatment, and insert and remove patient access needles as needed.
  • Monitor patients during dialysis, document changes, and inform the charge nurse of any concerns.
  • Calculate patient weight loss to reach dry weight, and determine patient care priorities and organize workload accordingly.
  • Maintain professional working relationships, observing patient privacy and rights, and maintain and track inventory.
  • Perform laboratory work as needed to support patient care.

Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines.
