Job Title: SSRS Developer

We are seeking a skilled and motivated SSRS Developer to join our dynamic team at Jobot. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and enhancing complex SSRS reports and dashboards that cater to the specific reporting needs of various business units and stakeholders.

Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and enhance complex SSRS reports and dashboards
  • Integrate data from multiple sources and databases to create comprehensive and unified reporting solutions
  • Design and optimize data models to support efficient reporting and analytics
  • Identify performance bottlenecks in reports and take necessary actions to optimize and improve report execution times
  • Utilize data visualization best practices to present data in a clear, visually appealing, and user-friendly manner
  • Develop automated report generation processes to ensure timely delivery and reduce manual effort
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and translate them into actionable reports that provide valuable insights
  • Conduct rigorous testing of reports to ensure accuracy and validate data against source systems
  • Implement appropriate security measures to control access to sensitive data in reports and ensure compliance with data privacy regulations
  • Create comprehensive technical documentation for developed reports, data models, and processes
  • Provide support and troubleshooting assistance for report-related issues to end-users and internal teams
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • Minimum of 8 years of hands-on experience in designing, developing, and managing SSRS reports and related technologies
  • Proficiency in writing complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and database optimization techniques
  • In-depth knowledge of SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) and its various features for report design and deployment
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and derive actionable insights
  • Experience with data integration from various sources and understanding of ETL processes
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) is a plus
  • Excellent communication skills to interact with cross-functional teams and gather/report requirements effectively
  • Proven ability to identify and resolve technical issues related to reporting solutions
  • Demonstrated ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously, meet deadlines, and deliver high-quality results
  • Strong team collaboration skills with a positive attitude and willingness to share knowledge
  • Meticulous attention to detail in report development, testing, and documentation
Preferred:
  • Microsoft SQL Server certification (e.g., MCSA: SQL Server) or equivalent
