Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and prioritize patient needs, providing individualized care and interventions as needed.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans, working collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
- Provide education and support to patients and families, promoting health and wellness.
- Collaborate with other departments and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development and implementation of evidence-based practices.
Requirements:
- Current MA RN license
- Current Emergency Department Nursing experience required
- American Heart Association - Basic Life Support & ACLS Certification required
- Demonstrates clinically competent assessment skills; demonstrates ability to perform under stressful situations; proven leader; demonstrated problem solver and excellent organizational skills; communicates effectively; demonstrates excellent interpersonal skills.
Preferred Requirements:
- Experience with evidence of completion of critical care course or equivalent or demonstration of previous experience with cardiac drips, conscious sedation or other critical activities.
- TNCC, CEN, Defibrillation Cert. preferred.
- Will consider EMS experience (Paramedic, EMT).
