Key Responsibilities:

What will your role entail?

Sales Management:

  • Oversee direct sales efforts for significant accounts within the assigned region.
  • Collaborate with local sales representatives to engage with clients in the area, including on-site visits for both current and potential customers.
  • Directly manage the allocation of clients and prospects to sales personnel.
  • Identify opportunities within the customer base and develop strategies to leverage these with the sales team.

Technical Expertise:

  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of Pioneer products and services.
  • Address and resolve customer inquiries and issues effectively.
  • Provide agronomic guidance and support to both existing clients and prospects.
  • Manage direct sales activities for assigned accounts, ensuring strong relationships and service delivery.
  • Facilitate training to enhance skills and meet sales performance goals.

Team Leadership:

  • Mentor and coach the sales team to improve sales performance, differentiate offerings, and foster client relationships.
  • Act as a role model and educator for sales representatives, showcasing effective sales techniques and customer engagement.
  • Recruit and retain a talented sales team capable of meeting customer needs.
  • Establish sales objectives and tactical plans with each sales representative for their assigned accounts.

Qualifications:

What do we seek from you?

  • A Bachelor's Degree is highly preferred, particularly in Agronomy, Business, or Marketing. Other degrees with relevant field sales experience may be considered.
  • A minimum of 5 years of sales experience, including managing and coaching team members.
  • Proficiency in selling, negotiating, influencing, conflict resolution, and coaching.
  • Knowledge of agronomy and crop production practices is advantageous.
  • Willingness to travel and work in rural settings.
  • Ability to pass a driving record background check.
  • Equivalent relevant experience may be considered in lieu of formal qualifications.
  • Visa sponsorship and international relocation are not available for this position.
