Job Title: Traveling Operating Room Nurse

Job Summary:

Trinity Health FirstChoice is seeking a skilled and experienced Traveling Operating Room Nurse to join our team. As a Traveling Operating Room Nurse, you will have the opportunity to work in a variety of practice settings, including hospitals and surgical centers, while enjoying the flexibility of travel nursing.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality patient care in the operating room setting
  • Collaborate with anesthesiologists, surgeons, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
  • Participate in pre-operative and post-operative patient care
  • Develop and implement individualized patient care plans
  • Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations of patients
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
  • Monitor patients' vital signs and respond to any changes or concerns
  • Document patient care and progress in a timely and accurate manner

Requirements:

  • Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in the operating room setting
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including days, evenings, and weekends
