Overview:

The Sacramento office of Lewis Brisbois, a full-service AmLaw 100 firm, is actively seeking an associate attorney to join its Complex Business & Commercial Litigation Practice.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Represent companies in a variety of federal and state litigation matters, including financial fraud, securities, breach of contract, breach of fiduciary duties, partnership disputes, shareholder disputes, loan disputes, construction litigation, and UCC litigation.
  • Prepare and argue motions, take and defend depositions, handle complex discovery, court appearances, mediations, arbitrations, and prepare cases for trial.
  • Work with a team of experienced attorneys who handle state and federal litigation, including appeals and regulatory proceedings for local, national, and international clients.

Requirements:

  • Admission to the California Bar or awaiting bar results.
  • At least one to seven years of complex commercial litigation experience.
