We are seeking a skilled Travel Nurse RN to join our team at Yavapai Regional Medical Center - West. This is a 13-week contract opportunity in the CVICU 601000 department.
Responsibilities- Provide high-quality patient care in the CVICU 601000 department, working closely with the interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans, taking into account the unique needs and goals of each patient.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, monitoring patient responses and adjusting care plans as needed.
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients, identifying potential complications and taking proactive steps to prevent them.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Participate in unit-specific orientation and training to ensure a smooth transition into the role.
- Minimum of two years of experience as a Registered Nurse in a critical care setting.
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications.
- Experience with IABP, CRRT, and Fresh OHS from the OR.
- Ability to titrate drips, including Dex, Propofol, Dop, Neo, Epi, Levo, Insulin, and Cardene.
- Experience with RN's reading strips.
- Pass a dysrhythmia exam prior to signing contract.
- 12-hour shifts, 7 days a week.
- Required to work 2 weekend shifts per pay period.
