Job Title: Echo Technician

MedPro Healthcare Allied Staffing is seeking a skilled Echo Technician for a travel assignment in Port Angeles, Washington.

Job Summary

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Echo Technician to join our team. As an Echo Technician, you will be responsible for preparing patients for examinations, performing echocardiography studies, and preparing preliminary interpretations of those studies.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare patients for examinations and perform echocardiography studies
  • Prepare preliminary interpretations of echocardiography studies
  • Prepare and maintain records of patient echo studies
  • Assist supervising physicians with training of residents, fellows, and other physicians
  • Knowledge of multiple echocardiography platforms and technology
  • Ability to read, interpret, apply, and follow physicians' orders, policies, procedures, or written and verbal instructions
Requirements
  • Successful completion of an accredited training course in cardiac technology
  • Successful completion of an accredited training course in cardiac ultrasound
  • Interpretation skills to facilitate a comprehensive examination and an accurate preliminary interpretation
  • Successful completion of a cardiac echocardiography technology program (graduate of cardiac echocardiography technology program)
