Job Title: Requirements Analyst

Spalding Consulting, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Requirements Analyst to join our team in Lexington Park, MD. As a Requirements Analyst, you will play a critical role in supporting program development, project execution, and business operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Apply expertise to support program development, project execution, and business operations.
  • Provide expert advice and recommendations in areas such as strategic business management, information technology, and engineering.
  • Ensure user stories are broken down into manageable, achievable capabilities that deliver business value.
  • Prioritize user stories in collaboration with the Product Team.
  • Responsible for Product Backlog creation and updates.
  • Understand business and technical logic in implementation.
  • Ensure proper attributes, characteristics, and functions are captured and implemented per customer requirements.
  • Coordinate with subject matter experts to gather requirements, respond to developer questions, and review in-process content for feedback.
  • Participate in backlog grooming efforts to ensure stories are written with clear and concise Acceptance Criteria.
  • Collaborate with training and testing resources to ensure materials support user events and testers understand functionality developed.
  • Attend grooming sessions to ensure questions or feedback are aligned on story requirements and acceptance criteria.
  • Review solution with key SME stakeholders as needed throughout sprint development.
  • Participate in bi-weekly small Product Group meetings to understand, evaluate, and discuss effort's status, challenges, and impacts.
Qualifications and Experience:
  • At least twelve (12) years of recent hands-on experience in areas such as Aviation Logistics, IT Systems Requirements, Operational Requirements, Test & Evaluation, and Training.
  • Recognized expert with demonstrated industry and public leadership in Information Technology.
Security Clearance:

Must be eligible to obtain a Secret clearance. Requirements include US Citizenship, security investigation, etc.

Education:

BS or BA degree in Business, Management, or Computer Science, Information Technology, or Engineering required.
