We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Patient Services Representative to join our team at Ascension Medical Group-Primary Care. As a key member of our front office staff, you will be responsible for scheduling patients for prescribed procedures, performing clerical and reception duties, and ensuring seamless communication with patients, staff, and healthcare providers.

Responsibilities
  • Communicate effectively with patients, participants, and staff to schedule patients for prescribed procedures
  • Perform clerical and reception duties associated with patient registration, including gathering demographic, insurance, and clinical information
  • Seek resources to resolve issues related to procedure scheduling, type, date, or location
  • Schedule patient procedures to optimize patient time and clinical resources
  • Coordinate and communicate schedules, including insurance pre-certification/authorization
  • Provide counseling to patients, participants, or their representatives regarding pre-service requirements and instructions
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need a High School diploma equivalency or 1 year of applicable cumulative job-specific experience. Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.
