We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Site Director to lead our Site Lead KEY Academy program in Wichita, Kansas. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the site, ensuring compliance with state regulations and YMCA policies.

Job Description

This is a full-time position that requires a strong leader who can manage staff, maintain accurate records, and ensure the smooth operation of the site. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children, adults, and school/church administration, as well as a proven track record of providing high-quality care and education.

The salary for this position is estimated to be around $50,000-$60,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily operations of the site, including supervision of staff, maintenance of accurate records, and compliance with state regulations and YMCA policies.
  • Develop and implement lesson plans according to standards set by KDHE and YMCA.
  • Maintain a safe and purposeful environment, ensuring that all CACFP, KDHE, and YMCA guidelines are met and exceeded.
  • Provide excellent customer service to parents and staff, responding promptly to concerns and issues.
  • Schedule staff meetings and provide regular updates to SACC Director.
  • Ensure that all necessary paperwork is completed accurately and on time, including time sheets, expense reports, and incident reports.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education, Child Development, or Psychology.
  • 12 semester hours of academic study or equivalent training in Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education, Child Development, or Psychology of sufficient college coursework/credits and/or one year experience to meet state licensing requirements.
  • Qualify for and obtain a Program Director Approval at the appropriate level for site size.
  • Be mature and able to relate well to children, adults, and host school/church administration.
  • Possess the ability to provide leadership and stability required to ensure program continuity.
