Job Summary
This full-time position in Housing & Residence Life involves performing routine manual tasks related to cleaning, servicing, and maintaining supplies in residence facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Conducts sweeping, mopping, waxing of floors, and vacuuming or shampooing of carpets in designated areas as required.
  2. Maintains cleanliness of restrooms, offices, and replenishes essential supplies such as toilet paper and paper towels.
  3. Washes windows, walls, and other designated surfaces.
  4. Collects and disposes of trash, ensuring all waste is removed to appropriate disposal areas.
  5. Sanitizes waste containers as needed to comply with health regulations.
  6. Polishes brass fixtures, drinking fountains, and glass doors, along with performing additional assigned tasks.
Minimum Qualifications
A high school diploma or equivalent (GED).

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Familiarity with cleaning agents, techniques, and departmental protocols.
  • Proficient in operating commercial-grade cleaning equipment.
  • Ability to handle sensitive or confidential information with discretion.
  • Capable of following both written and verbal instructions effectively.
  • Strong time management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Two years of experience in a similar or related field, along with familiarity with computerized timekeeping systems and maintenance work order processes.
