We are seeking a skilled Physician to join our team at Cross Country Locums. This is an excellent opportunity for a Physician who wants to work in a dynamic environment with a wide range of responsibilities.
About the JobThis position requires a Board Eligible or Board Certified Internal Medicine physician with experience in Emergency Medicine. The ideal candidate will have the ability to work 6 or more shifts per month and be flexible with their schedule. We welcome providers who prefer nights and/or those who don't have strong preferences for days or night shifts.
Work Setting and ScopeThe work setting is a fast-paced ER department with on-site CT, X-ray, lab, and limited Ultrasound capabilities. The provider will be responsible for evaluating patients, making diagnoses, and developing treatment plans. They will also be required to perform procedures such as suturing and administering medications.
Licenses and CertificationsTo be eligible for this position, the candidate must hold an unrestricted Medical License, be certified by the American Board of Emergency Medicine (ABEM), and possess a DEA license. Additionally, they must have current certifications in PALS, ATLS, ACLS, and BLS.
