Dental Care Specialist

Job Opportunity:
Affinity Dental Management, a leading dental organization, seeks an experienced Dental Assistant to join our team in Cromwell, CT. As a valued member of our practice, you will contribute to delivering exceptional patient care and helping us achieve our mission to empower dental professionals, enhance patient care, and stay at the forefront of dental medicine.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist dentists in providing high-quality patient care, ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for patients
- Sterilize and maintain instruments, supplies, and equipment to prevent cross-contamination and promote a clean working space
- Pour, trim, and polish study casts and removable appliances as needed
- Educate patients on oral hygiene, plaque control, and postoperative instructions to promote healthy habits and prevent complications
Requirements:
- Diploma or certificate from an approved Dental Assistant program as accredited by CODA (preferred)
- Current CT DA license, or DANB CDA in CT, ICE & RHS Certifications (preferred)
- CPR Certification
- Minimum 2 years of dental office experience (required)
