Job Overview

Hanes Companies, a leading manufacturer of building products, automotive parts, and home goods, is seeking an experienced Division Controller to join our team in Conover, NC.

About the Role

We are looking for a skilled professional with a strong background in full cycle distribution business to lead our financial planning and analysis functions. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for providing strategic guidance and support to senior leadership.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement financial plans and forecasts to drive business growth and profitability.
  • Analyze operational variance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Prepare and present financial information to stakeholders, including executive leadership and investors.
  • Lead internal negotiations with sales, purchasing, finance, and credit teams to optimize business outcomes.
  • Ensure compliance with GAAP and maintain high-quality internal controls.
  • Support due diligence for acquisitions and provide financial insights to inform decision-making.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance, with a minimum of 3 years of related experience.
  • Proven track record of driving business growth and improving financial performance.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Ability to analyze complex financial data and provide actionable insights.
