Opportunity for a Gastroenterologist at White Plains Hospital

White Plains Hospital Physician Associates is seeking a skilled gastroenterologist to join our team of top-ranked physicians. The selected candidate will play a key role in delivering high-quality care to our patients while upholding our commitment to clinical excellence and an exceptional patient experience.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform diagnostic procedures such as endoscopy, colonoscopy, and other specialized tests to evaluate gastrointestinal conditions
  • Interpret test results, diagnose patients' conditions, and develop individualized treatment plans
  • Provide comprehensive care to patients with a wide range of gastrointestinal disorders
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated and integrated patient care
  • Stay abreast of advancements in gastroenterology research and participate in continuing medical education to maintain proficiency in the field
The Physician Will:

Provide professional services to the Hospital's patient population, including assessment, treatment, and management of care, and ensure continuity of care for those patients assigned to the Physician.

The professional services provided shall be consistent with the requirements in place at the time for all applicable federal, state, and local regulatory entities, including The Joint Commission.

As may be reasonably required by the Hospital, work with designated Hospital administrators to provide input into the Practice Location's budgets, capital expenditures, strategic planning, and marketing.

As may be reasonably required by the Hospital, assist with the selection, supervision, and evaluation of the Practice Location's staff.

As may be reasonably required by the Hospital, assist the Hospital in recruitment of additional physicians specializing in gastroenterology to the area served by the Hospital.

Participate in utilization management, quality improvement, patient satisfaction programs, and committees as may be reasonably requested by the Hospital.

Participate in such teaching or community benefit programs or other activities as may be reasonably requested by the Hospital from time to time.

Participate in after-hours and on-call coverage as may be indicated for patient care and practice needs.

Provide and perform such other services as may reasonably be requested by the Hospital from time to time.
