Travel Requirements: Yes (up to 50%)
Key Responsibilities- Deliver 24/7 on-call Tier 2 system support for remote users, diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, and communication challenges while documenting solutions and proposing improvements to minimize repair frequency.
- Address system outages to ensure compliance with contract specifications.
- Assist in the installation, maintenance, and sustainability of foreign partner systems and networks.
- Engage in Emergency On-Site Sustainment (EOSS) travel to client locations as necessary.
- Manage system component failures or modification requests, planning for system changes or restorations.
- Design and conduct training sessions for existing personnel and new users from CCMD and FMS.
- Travel up to 50% annually to support Foreign Partner locations.
- Oversee planning and execution for sustainment and training missions involving single or multiple teams.
- Update Technical Data Packages as needed to accurately document systems.
- Conduct on-site sustainment activities, including system operational checks, inventory management, system updates, firmware upgrades, and documentation revisions.
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- A minimum of three years of systems administration experience with Windows and Linux environments.
- Proficient understanding of Server Operating Systems.
- Familiarity with Cisco networking and network routing protocols (e.g., Static routes, OSPF); GRE and IPSEC tunnels.
- Experience with Cisco Unified Communications Manager Express (VoIP) and Risk Management Framework (RMF) standards.
- Knowledge of Network Encryption Devices (e.g., KG-250, KG-250x, IPS-250x, KG-175).
- Understanding of virtualization technologies and products (VMware).
- Experience with Microsoft Active Directory (AD) for user and group management.
- Familiarity with current Microsoft Operating Systems (Server & Workstation).
- Experience with database maintenance (Oracle/Sybase/Postgress).
- Familiarity with Java application servers (Tomcat, JBoss).
- Knowledge of Linux/UNIX applications and services (NFS, SSH, NTP, LDAP, HTTP, Ansible).
- Must possess and maintain a DoD Top Secret Security Clearance with SCI Eligibility.
- DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification (Security+, CCNA Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, CND, SSCP).
- Willingness to work occasional non-duty hours or weekends to meet project or mission needs.
