About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Dental Assistant to join our team at Aspen Dental. As a key member of our clinical team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting the delivery of high-quality dental services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist dentists and hygienists during various treatment procedures, ensuring a smooth and efficient patient experience.
  • Take dental x-rays and prepare patients for treatment, maintaining a safe and sterile environment.
  • Set up and break down operatory equipment, ensuring optimal functionality and minimizing downtime.
  • Execute patient handoffs and monitor patient flow, ensuring seamless transitions and minimizing wait times.
  • Manage infection control, preparing and sterilizing instruments and equipment to maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Educate patients on proper oral hygiene strategies, promoting good oral health and preventing complications.
  • Complete denture soft relines and manufacture temporary crowns, demonstrating expertise in dental prosthetics.
  • Perform quality impressions and bite registrations, ensuring accurate and precise results.
  • Support patient charting for doctors, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records.
  • Perform various office tasks as necessary, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.
Requirements
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients of all ages and backgrounds.
  • Commitment to ongoing learning and professional development, staying up-to-date with industry advancements and best practices.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with other members of the dental team, promoting a culture of teamwork and mutual respect.
  • High school diploma or equivalent, with active license, registration, or permit as required by the state of practice.
