Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Respiratory Therapist to work in a 275-bed level III trauma center. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in respiratory care and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide respiratory care to patients with a variety of conditions, including respiratory failure, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), and pneumonia.
  • Develop and implement individualized respiratory care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Conduct pulmonary function tests and interpret results to diagnose and treat respiratory disorders.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
Requirements:
  • CPR/BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
  • State License-Respiratory Therapist-Hawaii.
  • ACLS (Advance Cardiac Life Support) certification.
  • NBRC-CRT (Cert Respiratory Therapist) certification.
  • PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification.
  • NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Prog/NALS) certification.
  • Ability to lift 50-100lbs.
