- Education: Bachelor's degree in Nursing from an accredited institution.
- Experience: At least one year of experience in critical care nursing, preferably in an ICU setting.
- Licensure and Certification: Current RN licensure in the state of practice and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Skills and Abilities: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, and proficiency in electronic medical records systems.
This position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with frequent interruptions. The nurse must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, push/pull with 30 pounds of force, and perform a sliding transfer of 150 pounds with a second person present. The nurse may be exposed to chemical and hazardous waste, as well as blood and body fluids, and must wear protective clothing and equipment as necessary.
