Responsibilities- Conduct thorough physical exams, assess patient health status, and order and interpret diagnostic tests.
- Prescribe medications and treat illnesses under the supervision of a physician.
- Consult with physicians as needed and refer patients to specialists when necessary.
- Lead and coordinate healthcare delivery, ensuring seamless communication among healthcare teams.
- Monitor patient progress, maintain accurate records, and consult with supervising physicians as needed.
- Participate in research projects, prepare statistical reports, and contribute to professional publications.
- Enhance patient care quality by redesigning processes and implementing changes.
- Serve and protect the facility by adhering to professional standards, policies, and procedures.
- Bachelor's degree and successful completion of an accredited physician assistant program (for Physician Assistants) or Master's degree and certification as a Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner (CRNP) based on RN licensure and state authority for advanced practice (for Nurse Practitioners).
- Average 1-6 years of experience in a primary care setting.
- Familiarity with various concepts, practices, and procedures in the field.
- State license and current CPR certification required.
