ROLE OVERVIEW
The Pizza Preparation Specialist (Seasonal) is tasked with crafting and cooking pizzas to order, ensuring top-notch quality and consistency. This position involves managing ingredients, operating kitchen machinery, and upholding cleanliness in the work area.

The ideal candidate will have experience in a dynamic kitchen setting, exhibit meticulous attention to detail, and collaborate efficiently within a team to serve delectable pizzas to patrons.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Execute all tasks as directed by Kitchen Supervisors.

- Operate various stations with a focus on pizza and table service items.

- Deliver consistent, high-quality dishes promptly.

- Utilize commercial kitchen equipment for food preparation.

- Ensure each station is equipped with necessary tools.

- Work swiftly and effectively to optimize production.

- Monitor food quality throughout preparation, transportation, and delivery.

- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the kitchen as required.

- Adhere to sanitary regulations at all times.

QUALIFICATIONS
- Possession of a NYC Food Protection Certificate is mandatory.

- Previous cooking experience is essential, including roles as a line chef, restaurant cook, or prep cook.

- Experience in pizza making is highly desirable.

- Familiarity with industry best practices is expected.

- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously is crucial.

- Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays is required.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- Must be capable of standing and remaining stationary for extended periods, up to 12 hours during events.

- Must be prepared for long shifts, including overnight hours.

- Ability to lift, pull, carry, or move at least 50 pounds is necessary.

COMPENSATION
- The hourly wage for this position ranges from $20 to $25.
