Cardiovascular Radiologic Technologist

We are seeking a skilled Cardiovascular Radiologic Technologist to join our team at Norman Regional Health System. This position plays a critical role in supporting our innovative cardiovascular program by preparing for procedures, assessing patient conditions, and maintaining sterile environments.
As a member of our team, you will collaborate with cardiologists and leadership to ensure top-tier patient care while serving as a mentor for new hires and students. Candidates should be certified as Radiologic Technologists or RCIS and possess essential certifications such as BLS and ACLS.
About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity to work in a state-of-the-art Critical Care Tower with three Cath Lab suites, one Electrophysiology suite, one Hybrid suite, two treatment rooms, and seventeen Same Day Surgery rooms. You will work alongside a team of nine cardiologists and two electrophysiologists.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Preparing equipment before and during procedures
- Identifying and assessing patient condition. Preparing, positioning, and providing patient care
- Maintaining a sterile environment
- Serving as a preceptor for new hires and radiology students and participating in the orientation of new staff
To be considered for this role, you must have:
- A completion of 24-month formal program or military program of Radiologic Technology with American Registry of Radiologic Technologist eligible and/or current RCIS
- Previous procedural area experience preferred
- American Registry of Radiologic Technology. Registered and/or RCIS certification
- BLS training or re-training required during orientation prior to providing patient care
- ACLS training within 6 months of hire and maintained through duration of employment
Norman Regional Health System offers a competitive salary ranging from $27.84 to $45.46 per hour based on previous work experience.
