Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Server to join our team at Paradies Lagardre, a leading airport concessionaire. As a Server, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests, ensuring a memorable dining experience in our award-winning concepts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Exceed customer service standards by providing friendly and timely interaction with each guest.
  • Present the menu, answer questions, and make suggestions regarding food and service.
  • Observe guests to respond to any additional requests and determine when meal has been completed.
  • Totals bill, accepts payment, and processes all point of sale transactions in a quick and efficient manner.
  • Know all specials, menu items, and desserts, and be knowledgeable about liquor, beer, and wine products.
  • Build guest loyalty and enhance selling skills through the use of available training materials.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, and support other areas of the restaurant as requested.
  • Respond to guest concerns and complete all side work duties, including sweeping and mopping.
  • Ensure responsible service of alcohol and maintain current adult beverage certification.
  • Accountable for compliance with all local, state, and federal laws and regulations, including those relating to food safety.

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or GED.
  • Restaurant experience preferred.
  • Experience handling money and a point of sale system.
  • Ability to work various shifts in a 7/365 team-oriented environment.
  • Excellent customer service skills and ability to communicate effectively.
  • Self-starter able to prioritize and handle various tasks simultaneously.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and unexpected situations.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely with Team Members, Managers, and Guests.
  • Proficiency required in reading and writing and mathematics.
  • Ability to lift a minimum of 25 lbs, perform essential job functions such as standing, bending, reaching, climbing on ladder, and walking long distances.
