Fiberglass Tank Assembler

POSITION SUMMARY

Fiber Glass Systems, a division of NOV, is seeking dedicated individuals for DAY SHIFT roles. These positions are typically scheduled Monday through Friday, from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM.

This entry-level role is essential in ensuring the safe and high-quality finishing of our tanks and wastewater products prior to delivery to our clients.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Support the assembly and construction of finished goods.
• Assist in the fabrication, preparation, and installation of fittings and other component parts.
• Repair product imperfections (including, but not limited to, grinding, patching, etc.) as indicated by designated personnel.
• Conduct visual inspections, take measurements, and perform other quality checks, notifying the appropriate personnel of any substandard materials.
• Operate machinery, power tools, assembly fixtures, and material handling equipment (including, but not limited to, circular saws, hand drills, sanders, etc.).
• Adhere to safe work practices.
• Utilize appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Follow all NOV company policies, guidelines, and procedures.
• Comply with all health, safety, and environmental (HSE) policies, guidelines, and procedures.
• Adhere to all quality policies, guidelines, and procedures.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned.

EDUCATIONAL & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
• Must be able to pass a drug screening and background investigation.
• Ability to read blueprints is essential.
• Experience in a factory setting with significant temperature variations.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, bend/stoop, push/pull, and perform repetitive movements for up to 12 hours daily.
• Capability to lift weights up to 50 lbs regularly.
