Environmental Health & Safety Specialist

Location: Hybrid role with a mix of onsite and remote work.

Schedule: Standard business hours, Monday to Friday.

We are a prominent organization in the biomaterials sector, actively seeking a qualified Environmental Health and Safety Specialist to enhance our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Training and Regulatory Compliance: Facilitate safety training initiatives and ensure adherence to environmental and safety laws and guidelines.
  • Auditing and Reporting: Perform safety audits and inspections, assess reports, and interpret data. Provide insights on departmental performance metrics as required.
  • Committee Engagement and Contractor Management: Aid in the operation of safety committees and oversee external contractors engaged in Environmental Health and Safety activities.
  • Emergency Preparedness and Program Oversight: Respond to safety incidents, uphold compliance with various safety programs, and deliver essential training.

Required Qualifications:
