Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Computed Tomography Technologist PRN to join our team at Advocate Aurora Health. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality CT services to inpatients, outpatients, and Emergency Department patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform CT scans and post-processing according to established clinical protocols and guidelines
  • Obtain pertinent patient history to provide the radiologist with adequate information for exam interpretation
  • Document all patient information on appropriate forms
  • Collaborate with internal and external customers to provide safe, prompt, efficient, and cost-effective CT services
Requirements
  • 1 year general radiology experience preferred
  • ARRT registry
  • IEMA license
  • CPR certification within 3 months of hire
  • Basic knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and basic CT procedures
  • Good oral and written communication skills
  • Computer competence
Working Conditions

This position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with frequent exposure to radiation and hazardous chemicals. The ability to lift up to 35 pounds without assistance is also required.
