Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Groundskeeper to maintain the cleanliness, appearance, and functionality of our multifamily community's outdoor spaces and common areas. The ideal candidate will have a basic understanding of preventive maintenance tasks and enjoy working outdoors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform daily inspections of outdoor areas to identify and address cleanliness or safety issues.
  • Sweep, rake, and remove debris from sidewalks, driveways, and common areas to maintain a neat appearance.
  • Empty trash receptacles and dispose of garbage and recycling materials in accordance with established procedures.
  • Clean and maintain outdoor furniture, fixtures, and amenities to prolong their lifespan.
  • Assist with landscaping tasks such as planting, watering, and pruning to ensure the health and beauty of plants and green spaces.
  • Operate and maintain groundskeeping equipment and tools in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Report any maintenance or repair needs to the appropriate personnel for prompt resolution.
  • Respond to resident inquiries and concerns regarding outdoor maintenance issues with professionalism and courtesy.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in custodial or groundskeeping work preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of grounds maintenance techniques and equipment.
  • Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, and kneeling.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to identify and address maintenance issues proactively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
