We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Labor and Delivery team at Baptist Medical Center Jacksonville. This is a full-time night shift position in our Labor and Delivery unit.
Key Responsibilities- Provide patient-centered care using the nursing process and the mission statement.
- Organize and supervise care provided by supportive personnel.
- Coordinate care provided by ancillary services.
- Include patients and significant others in developing and individualized plan of care.
- Serve as the patient advocate and responsible for nursing care in newborn nursery and postpartum units.
- Associate's Degree in Nursing.
- 1-2 years of Medical Surgical Nursing experience.
- Less than 1 year of Newborn Nursery experience.
- Less than 1 year of Mother/Baby Nursing experience.
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Certification.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.
- Registered Nurse Certified Electronic Fetal Monitoring (RNC EFM) Certification (preferred).
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certification (preferred).
- Licensed Registered Nurse.
