Mistral Inc. is seeking an experienced Welder/Fabricator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in MIG welding, solid wire, and flux core experience, as well as the ability to read and interpret blueprints and sketches.
Key Responsibilities:
- Reads and interprets blueprints, sketches, and symbols to perform complex layouts and fitting of critical components.
- Applies welding processes to join, surface, fabricate, or repair parts of metal or other weldable materials.
- Positions parts to be welded into jigs, holding fixtures, guides, and steps using measuring instruments and hand tools.
- Inspects completed work for conformance to specifications and quality standards.
- Works effectively in a team environment with minimal direction or supervision.
- Performs all work in accordance with established safety procedures.
Requirements:
- Demonstrated skill-sets in the use of blueprints, sketches, flow diagrams, and welding symbols.
- 2+ years of experience in welding, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- AWS D1.1 & 1.6 certification required upon hire.
- Ability to read and interpret drawings, inclusive of weld symbols.
- Working knowledge of all safety procedures pertaining to duties.
- Ability to multitask and work in a production environment with multiple product changeovers.
