About the Role

Cleveland Clinic's Fairview Hospital is seeking a skilled Dialysis Technician to join our team. As a Dialysis Technician, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care to renal patients.

Responsibilities
  • Provide intermittent hemodialysis (IHD) care to patients under the direct supervision of an RN.
  • Clarify prescribed dialysis care regimens with licensed practitioners when necessary.
  • Notify practitioners of any deviations from prescribed care regimens.
  • Document all interactions and decisions related to patient care.
  • Assist with basic equipment usage and troubleshooting.
  • Manage dialysis solutions and equipment.
  • Conduct 5S zone responsibilities.
  • Teach and support other employees and personnel.
  • Assist with research projects.
  • Monitor and chart the central water system.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Certified Dialysis Technician (CDT) certification.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).
  • Minimum one year prior Intermittent Hemodialysis (IHD) experience.
