Overview

As a seasoned professional in senior living and health care, we are seeking a skilled Alzheimer Unit Coordinator to join our team at Tutera Senior Living & Health Care. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the implementation and facilitation of the Thrive program, working closely with the Life Enrichment team and direct care staff to provide a functional and appropriate program for our residents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement and facilitate the Thrive program daily
  • Work closely with the Life Enrichment team and direct care staff
  • General oversight of the Courtyard community in cooperation with the Administrator and Health Care Coordinator

Requirements:

  • Minimum of two years of experience working with individuals with Alzheimer's disease or dementia, with at least one year of supervisory experience
  • Prior background in senior living, social work, recreational therapy, or nursing preferred
  • Excellent customer service and organizational skills required
  • Knowledge of dementia and Alzheimer's progression in older adults required
