Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Radiology Technologist to join our team at Wellstar Health System, Inc. as a FT Night Weekend Registered Radiology Technologist. Key Responsibilities
  • Operate radiographic equipment to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
  • Position patients for exams, ensuring their safety and comfort.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, including patient information and exam results.
  • Participate in quality control and quality assurance activities to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare teams to provide exceptional patient care.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest medical imaging technologies and techniques to provide the best possible care.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an AMA-approved School of Radiologic Technology.
  • ARRT Radiography certification.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working in a hospital or healthcare setting.
  • Knowledge of medical imaging software and systems.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends.
