Duration: 13 weeks

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, 36 hours per week (3 shifts), every other weekend required, holidays required, no on-call.

Job Summary:

The Registered Nurse will be responsible for assessing and caring for oncology patients in an acute setting. Key responsibilities include collaborating with physicians, developing individualized care plans, and providing evidence-based, patient-centered care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with physicians to develop and implement individualized care plans
  • Provide evidence-based, patient-centered care to oncology patients
  • Assess and manage patient care in an acute setting
  • Document patient care according to clinical standards
Qualifications:
  • Experience: 2 years of acute adult oncology or medical-surgical experience
  • Education: Associate's Degree in Nursing (ASN) required, BSN preferred
Licenses & Certifications:
  • Active NJ State RN license or multi-state compact license
  • BLS (AHA) certification
  • NIHSS certification required
  • Preferred: Telemetry and Chemotherapy certification through ONS
Skills:
  • Strong assessment, planning, and documentation skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced acute setting
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Schedule:
  • 12-hour shifts (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM), 36 hours per week
  • Every other weekend and holidays required
