We are seeking an accomplished Electrical Systems Technician with expertise in Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs) to join our team at Integrated Power Services. This is a fantastic opportunity for you to leverage your skills and experience in commissioning, repairing, and maintaining VFDs.

About the Role:

This VFD specialist will work closely with our clients to ensure seamless integration of VFD technology into their operations. As part of our dynamic team, you will develop strong working relationships with clients, vendors, and colleagues while ensuring compliance with industry standards and practices.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Commissioning, Testing, Troubleshooting, Repair, and Replacement: You will be responsible for installing, testing, troubleshooting, repairing, and replacing VFDs in the field.
  • Educating and Training: Share your knowledge with fellow team members and customers on the effective application of VFD technology.
  • VFD Upgrades: Replace outdated VFDs with modern equipment, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Preventative Maintenance: Regularly perform maintenance activities on VFDs to prevent downtime and ensure reliable operation.
  • Work Orders: Complete tasks efficiently and effectively, meeting client expectations.
Qualifications and Requirements:
  • Experience: At least 2 years of experience in VFD field service.
  • Skills: Excellent troubleshooting, diagnostic, and analytical skills; knowledge of electrical and mechanical principles; ability to read, interpret, and draw electrical schematics; and experience in calibrating equipment.

Salary and Benefits:

Our estimated salary range for this role is $60,000 - $90,000 per year, depending on experience.
