About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Psychiatric Nurse to join our team at CHI Health Good Samaritan. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the overall success of our organization.

Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive care to patients with mental health conditions, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Administer medications accurately and safely, and document patient care activities as required.
  • Practice sterile or clean techniques for wound care and dressing changes.
  • Participate in ongoing education and professional development to stay current with best practices in psychiatric nursing.
Qualifications
  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license that allows you to practice in our state.
  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
