Accounting Lecturer

The Department of Accounting at West Virginia University invites applications for part-time Lecturer positions to teach in the Spring, Summer, and/or Fall semesters. We are seeking qualified individuals to teach undergraduate and graduate courses in accounting, auditing, tax, accounting analytics, and forensic accounting and fraud examination.
To be considered, applicants must have a Master's degree in accounting, accounting information systems, management information systems, or equivalent, or relevant professional certifications (e.g., CPA, CIA, CMA, CFE) and a minimum of 10 years of leadership experience. A doctoral degree is typically required to teach graduate or undergraduate courses, while a Master's degree is sufficient for teaching undergraduate courses.
Applications will be accepted throughout the year and will be considered as openings arise. Salary is established on a per-course basis. While these positions are not anticipated to be benefits-eligible, individual positions may become benefits-eligible based on course load.
